Money Addictions of America is
involved in the training & supervision of Mental Health
Professionals including; Social Workers, Interns, chemical
dependency counselors and problem gambling counselors. The purpose
of the training programs is to enable the development of skilled
diagnosticians, psychotherapists and supportive mental health
personnel. A one on one training for those wishing to earn a CASAC
credential (substance abuse counseling) also includes training for a
potential NYCGTC credential (problem gambling counselor’s
credential).

Training & Library
MAA administers a comprehensive education and training program for
money addictions professionals through its Training Unit.
The Training Unit also maintains the Heiko Ganzer Library which
contains educational material on money addictions and other
addictions.
The Training Unit provides and sponsors training events
to increase knowledge and enhance skills in the delivery of
alcoholism and substance abuse services.
The
Training Calendar is
available by request via e-mail. The Calendar includes MAA training,
as well as those providers and courses which have been reviewed and
approved by MAA as acceptable.
The Training Unit's Heiko Ganzer’s Library will allow downloads of
material to interested persons.
Workshops
MAA will provide lectures and workshops to the public or to specific
organizations seeking to improve awareness, prevent or treat persons
with money addictions.
Professional Supervision (Live one
on one or Internet)
Heiko Ganzer offer personal one on one supervision for those
interested in acquiring the knowledge to treat persons with money
addictions. You must be credentialed in your state in order to
qualify for this supervision.
Customized Corporate programs aimed
at prevention
MAA offers prevention programs for organizations dealing with money
problems in their workforce
